Now, you have to understand that doppelgangers are not something that is your biological twin but, are the supernatural entities. Every person that has ever existed or will exist on this earth will have 7 doppelgangers of them on this very earth.

Now, the truth on the subject: When a person is born on this earth, they are born with 7 exact doppelgangers of them which are the personification of the 7 deadly sins assigned to every person. These 7 deadly sins tag along and born with every single person in the exact mirror image of that person. They are usually in the physical form that can not be tethered in our realm until unless they have acquired the power to interact in our realm by the person they are assigned to.
Most people never really acknowledge those beings who are tagged to them by unbreakable bonds. So, next time when you think you are alone in your room or anywhere; you aren't exactly. They are always with you, no matter wherever you go or hide your head in the sand, but they are always with you.
In Islam these beings are considered as the Jinns and these particular are called Quareen Jinn.
In Hindu Dharma, these beings are personified by the 7 natural sins as Kaam, krodh, Madd, Lobh, Moh, Mastar, Ahankar.

Let's start from the basic;
When a person is born, there are 7 doppelgangers or Quareens are born with them. They are of same age and physical traits as to the new born. They are in same dimension as in of our own but are made up of 3 elements i.e. Air, fire & sky. So, they are there but hidden from us in our plain sight. They have brains of their own and are connected to your brain.
All the thoughts that you are thinking while you can't sleep or before any decision making are all their thoughts including yours. They are just you but with a single impulse of emotions they are born with, for example if it's an anger doppelganger of yours then it will only show anger and is incapable of showing any other emotion as it's just an energy form itself.

All you need is a mirror with no deformity, that can give you exact reflection of yourself. The mirror is the doorway to the realms of projections and thus it could summon them infront of you.
Now, you need a quite room with absolutely zero distractions and that mirror with zero deformity.
Now, we want you to think like a non-believer, so that whatever you witness should be of such an impact that even non-believers will believe.
Now, you have to clear your head of all the ongoing distractions and thoughts.
Sit infront of that mirror in a comfortable position and so that the mirror is kept infront of you completely parallel so that no deformity could be suspected,

But, that's a rare exception. Other times the unfulfilled doppelgangers they lashes out into the world by their own after the death of the person. They travel to the earth and reach out to all the people close to the real person. They will try to show themselves and talk to them in their sleep or Deja-vu or sometimes while they are watching into the mirror.
Sometimes they attach themselves as the guardian angel to the people they have loved with the person who's doppelgangers are them. They become Omens. As whenever the person feel sad, they will appear to them in dream or in mirror or sometimes just as the warmth that they are not alone. Some become death omen or the luck omen. It works like if their is any death that's about to happen to the person close to the person they have attached themselves to; They will appear infront of that person as the sign for few seconds and then disappear. One of the eeriest cases of the existence of a doppelganger is Emilie Sagee. Her story was first told by Robert Dale-Owen in 1860, in his book called Footfalls on the Boundary of Another World. He himself heard the story from Julie von Güldenstubbe, daughter of Baron von Güldenstubbe, who attended the elite boarding school Pensionat von Neuwelcke in the year 1845, in present-day Latvia. This is the school in which Emilie Sagee was employed in that year.

Emilie Sagee had a doppelganger—a ghostly twin—that would make itself visible to others at random moments. The first time it was spotted was when she had been teaching a class of 17 girls. She had been normally writing on the board, her back facing the girl, when out of nowhere a projection like entity that looked just like her appeared. It stood right beside her, mocking her by imitating her movements. While everyone else in the class could see this doppelganger, Emilie herself could not. In fact, she never came across her twin, which was just as well for her. It is considered to be an extremely bad omen to see one’s own doppelganger.
